Paul McCartney to Retire???

Paul McCartney announces his "retirement" tour. Say it ain't so Paul!!

Hello, Goodbye??

LONDON: According to the "CelebrityAccess Mediawire," Sir Paul is planning an extensive retirement tour for 2010 to include a great number of unusual places for gigs reportedly included in the intinerary. According to the the famous UK newspaper "The Sun," Sir Paul is looking to put together the ultimate tour that has already been characterized by insiders as simply "MASSIVE." McCartney is planning on making stops at China's Tiananmen Square and a date near Berlin's famous Checkpoint Charlie (This is the spot near the middle of Berlin that during the Cold War, people would cross back and forth to the Soviet side of the city. It was heavily manned by troops on both sides of the checkpoint.)

"Paul wants to go out with a BANG," said an unnamed inside source who wishes to remain anonymous at this point in time. "He's played countless stadiums over his 50 year career and is on the hunt for the most usual locations he can find."

"He realizes that the older he gets, the less his body will be able to cope with the demands of extended periods on the road," said the source. "He might play the odd benefit gig if the likes of President Obama gives him a bell - but other than that, he'll be putting his feet up and enjoying retirement."   CelebrityAccess

>A comment from your humble correspondant: "I say no way. Paul is too young to retire. Oh, he may do the so-called retirement tour but he will be back. And why? Because he loves it too much. He loves touring and spreading the great music out as far and wide as possible. As a matter of fact, he should go out on tour with BeatleTracks and really kick up the oldies and back catalogue music he hasn't even touched yet."
